i believe that sight is the most important among the five senses because, without our sense of sight then everything would be hard to perceive... having the sense of sight enables us to see the beauty of our surroundings which God has created... if we can't see, then we would never have a full description of a particular object which is being observed... through seeing, we can feel and understand immediately the nature of the subject being experimented...tasting,hearing,feeling, and smelling are all but vanity in the sense that we can't have a descriptive and a complete understanding on that particular object..

Yes, I do agree that sight is the most precious of the five senses.
Precisely because almost all our daily activities and routines are connected to our vision.
Based on the fact that one of the most versatile of all sense, vision supplies us with information about objects at close range, at a great distance, and at an infinite number of distances in between.
With our sight, we can see different colors around us in which these colors add greatly to our knowledge of the world around us, and also a never ending source of pleasure.
It causes us to appreciate fully the beauty of a sunset, the striking hues of astonishing leaves, or many colors of the rainbow, etc.
By inference, a world without sight is like a world without everything.

i do agree that the sight is the most important among the five senses.
without seeing a particular object, you won't dare to even touch, smell or taste it... the very first step that we do in any activity is to look at it before we take a step further...
the beauty of the world can be better appreciated if we see it.
seeing the beauty of the world created by our Lord is one of the reasons why we do exist...
so that is why i really believe that seeing is the most important among the five senses...

Of all the five senses, i do believe that the sight is the most important. We all know that it's very difficult to work without our vision. We even have hard times working in gloomy places, what more when we're already blind? Its very hard not to recognize the things around us. Our activities would be limited. It would be hard to move alone since we couldnt see or recognize what/where we are going to. In gathering observations or data, without using our sight, the data we will get would be incomplete. Not having vision is not just being blind, its like being disabled three times or more.

Lezter16 said...

yes,I agree.Base of my observation, sight is integral to the highest possible quality of life.Vision loss severely reduces mobility. It interferes with daily life to the extent that ordinary activities, such as walking, going outside and getting in and out of a bed or chair are made more difficult, or impossible.
With sight,we can clearly and rapidly make an observation or an inference out of the particular situation. We can give a complete description of an object or recognize a thing easily.

In my opinion, i think that it is right. it is the most useful senses of our body and without it we cannot see the beauty of God's creation. With our eyes,we can observe many things. we can see the shapes and the colors of an object. with our eyes we read and write accurately. without it we cannot visualize all the things.
that is why our eyes is the most precious of all the five senses.
that's all, thank you...

for me, this is definitely a yes. our sense of sight gives us the power to appreciate the world around us. it gives us the capability to look at the wonderful things Lord has created for us. without our sense of sight, o believe that the other senses would be useless because how are we going to know what to smell if we have no sense of sight? what we are hearing? what we are touching.. that is why for me, the most important sense is our sight.

as far as i am concerned, sight is the most important among the five senses.Eyes cud give information to our brain, not a single point cud even go beyond our eyes unlike our other senses. It able us to realize how wonderful God is-through his creations.Living without sight is a hard one for we could not see anything and couldn't even understand completely such things specially in our environment which our lives revolved.

Sarcastically, our eyes is the door to our soul that in every step we make, no regrets.

I think that sight is the important thing among all the five sences because life is dull in darkness. Sight is also important because it is the window of our soul, if we lose our sight we cannot see what we wanted to see and also we cannot see what GOD have created, and also sight is also important because we are considered as living death...It is difficult to do things if we lose our sight...
....that's my opinion about why is sight so important than the other sences...

good afternoon.. For me, among the 5 senses, sight is the most important. As what we experience, we really need sight. Without sight, our life will be miserable. We cant see what God created. If we cant see thus, we cant observe everything. If we do see, we can really understand everything. When we watch any movie and ther's no music, we can merely understand the movie. We cant absolutely say that the thing is nice without watching it, right?
So, I can say that without th sense of sight, we will suffer such agony..

Yes i do believe that sight is the most important among the five senses because, without our eyes or without our sense of sight how can we see the beauty of life? Everything around us won't be appreciated and hated if we don't have it. Yes, all of the five senses are important, but w/o sight, how can we see the face of our parents?how can we see the blue oceans, the green pastures and the other creations of our God?and how can we see or how can we find the person destined to be our mate? If we don't have our sight. how will we know if something is in the way and it could be the reson why we'll fell? we use our sight so that we can see the good and bad side of life. W/o it, you can't see if something is wrong then you won't be able to find any solutions to that certain problem. We can easily have our impression to a person we had just met, we'll know if he is a good one or not. Seeing is also important especially to a student like me. If i were blind, I won't be able to read books, learn new things and solve math and chem problems. And I won't reach this part of my life.. Being a part of the FINEST section in ZSNHS Main.. for me, the sense of sight is the most important sense among the five senses we humans have... seeing in the beauty of the world is a big privilege given to us.. why??? blind people wishes to see the world but we who have the sense of seeing uses this sense in some bad activities.. activities like "boso".. it is a bad activity.. we should use this sense like attending in a program for the blind.. we should thank God for the oppurtunity He gave unto us.. because if we dont have this sense , its a big problem for us to do our day to day living..sense of sight is the general sense for me..if you want to touch, taste or smell a thing you first you where this thimg is placed.. and if you want to talk also to a person,in order for you to understand him/her clearly, you should look to him/her like in listening our teacher..
in the experiments we will have bservation is needed..it uses our sense of sight..

The human eye is the organ which gives us the sense of sight, allowing us to learn more about the surrounding world than we do with any of the other four senses. We use our eyes in almost every activity we perform, whether reading, working, watching television, writing a letter, driving a car, and in countless other ways. I really believe that sight is the most precious of the five senses, that's why many people fear blindness more than any other disability.

I think the most important of our human senses is sight. Sight or vision can we call also is the ability to see the features of objects we look at, such as color, shape, size, details, depth, and contrast. Vision is achieved when the eyes and brain work together to form pictures of the world around us. Vision begins with light rays bouncing off the surface of objects. These reflected light rays enter the eye and are transformed into electrical signals. Millions of signals per second leave the eye via the optic nerve and travel to the visual area of the brain. Brain cells then decode the signals into images, providing us with sight. I believe that w/out it we can't see the "art of GoD" around us such as the trees & the flower, the oceans and Seas, the sky, the cute animals and specially our kind, human beings. In choosing a mate the physical appearance is one of the factors. If we can't see the person,
you feel there is missing. Definitely, I can't live w/out it because how am I supposed to play my favourite game if I am blind.

among the five senses, the most important for me is the sense of sight. From the moment we wake up in the morning to the time we go to sleep at night, our eyes are acting like a video camera. Everything we look at is then sent to your brain for processing and storage much like a video cassette. This is a very simplified explanation, but as we learn more about our eyes, we will discover why the sense of sight is actually considered the most complex of the five senses. By God's creation, his purpose is to let us witness by using our eyes and use it as part of our lives. W/o it, we could hardly do the things that we wanted so much to do and God is so good for creating a pair of beautiful and lovely white balls..

fOr me, i'd rather chOose tO live withOut sense of taste, tOuch, smell and hearing than tO exist wothOut sense of sight.. at least i can clearly describe everything i see than to live in oblivion thrOughout my life..

but in the other side, d 4 senses are important also.4 instance, in making an experiment, we cant totally prove dat our experiment wil work if we dnt use these 4 senses.der are some situation also dat we can use these 4 senses.and 4 me these 5 senses are so important 4 us, 4 our daily living and 4 our life.

It lets us see the world around us.It is used most often to learn about the world. It,s hard for us to do our works well if we cannot see.
If someone is a deaf-mute, he can still do many works because of his sight and they can communicate through signs. But if a parson is blind, he is deprive of so many things.
If we are blind, then how can we see our beautiful world? We are like living in a dark world, living in darkness. We cannot have normal education and normal life. We could not have good jobs because we are not capable to do so. That,s why we must take extra care for our eyes...:)

for me, i think that Vision is obviously involved in the perception of colour. A person can see in dim light, however, without being able to distinguish colours. Light of some critical intensity, therefore, is also necessary for colour perception. Finally, the manner in which the brain responds to visual stimuli must also be considered. Therefore, vision or sight is important not only for humans but for animals, in order to live...Other senses evovled around the sight...

I much believe that sight is the most precious among the five senses because it lets us view things in which we need to survive our wicked, difficult and sense-twisting lives. Our sight lets us see the beautiful, majestic and intricate world God has created for us.Sight also enable us to gather qualitative infos and essential quantitative data much needed to survive and last every day.Through sight we may sometimes infer if something is rough, tickling for the nose, pleasant to the ears, tasty and such stuffs. And we've got to admit almost all our chores, work, activities and pleasure needs sight. So goes the cliche,"To see is to believe."To believe is to realize, and to realize is to learn.

g'pm ma'am..

so many people said "yes!.." in response:; so much so that the rebel inside me is begging for me to say no just to shake things up.

however, all oddities aside, the answer to this question is unquestionably yes.

as scientists, it is the most useful and oftentimes most reliable source of data. we acquire more information about the object under study with the aid of our eyes than any other sensory organ.

as a community of human beings, and therefore, a populace of people i awe of everything around us. vision is our most vital facet. we see the beauty, the miracle that is Mother Earth.

our eyes' capabilities are not just limited to merely seeing things. although that in itself is quite inexplicable. no, our eyes grant us the ability of empathy. we see and recognize emotions by looking at their expressions.

to live in the world without seeing the myriad of colors it presents, without seeing its beauty would be a downright shame..

and thank God we were given our most precious (for lack of a better term) appendage.

that's it.. i'm sure you have many more comments to read. :)

good day.

Yes, i agree that sight is the most important among the five senses...because without it, we wouldn't be able to see the beauty of our surroundings which God had created... we woudn't be able to observe a particular object without first looking at it... we woudn't even dare to taste, smell, etc. a particular thing without first knowing what it is... another thing is that our sense of sight gives us the main reason to appreciate all the wonderful things that the Lord had created...

Yes. I definitely agree that sight is the most precious of all the five senses because, figuratively speaking, our eyes are the windows of our soul. Through it, we can see the wonders of the world around us and since we are science students, we are able to observe the changes in our world through it. Of all the senses, seeing can be considered as the leader of the pack because for example, we can even determine if a thing is rough without even touching it but by just looking at it; or we can tell if the food 'looks' good without even tasting. This may be the reason why our Creator place our eyes in front and at the same time at the top o our faces so that we can fully utilize it as we go through the wonders of His world.

* What if you are a blind person?
Can you still consider the sense of sight as the most precious among the five senses?
It is hard to accept and sad to know that not all people are given the opportunity to witness the beauty and wonder of Mother Earth. But still they are lucky for they have the other four senses which help them to continue living in this world. We should not only focus to the sense of sight but also to the other four senses. For God made these five senses because of their own uses and importance.
Consider the situation, if a food looks good it does not mean that it really taste well, unless you will taste it.Right?
As a conclusion,it is not only the sense of sight which is precious but also the other four senses. All the five senses are equal.Nothing is on top and nothing is below. We must be grateful and thankful to God for having these senses.

Definitely it's a yes...our eyes are a most important source of information for the brain. They(eye and the brain) work together to ensure that, where possible, the image the eye perceives and the information the brain already has about that certain image will converge into something recognizable and accurate. So it only means that without our sight it is possible for us not to have the accurate information or image that we are thinking. Although there's always our brain to imagine or picture things out, still it is always different or much easier when we are using our sense of sight...(IV-Oriole)

a pleasant day to all!
its really my honor to answer that awesome, superb and majestic question.
oh..sounds simple.wel i should rephrase,SIMPLY VAST!
its a truism that God has given us everything.even the minutest orgs and greatest individuals existing within the locality of earth have abound with Gods blessings.
if i am to answer the question, its my pleasure to hold my head up to what i feel is right-yes!
among the 5 senses of spiritual beings having a human experience, SIGHT is very much important.
thru innocent eyes, we can see how God wonderfully made our precious world.as passers by, we would know how beautiful life is.simply, we can see things and when we can see things, we know how to act to certain stimuli,we know how to adjust.we know how to deal with life.we appreciate the beauty of life.the horizons, the waves in the oceans, the rays of the sun-these are just little extras we SEE....-that able us to feel,to taste,to hear and to smell.
yes, you've read it right my dear.all of our senses just spawned and rooted from one, unintricate and fixed sense yet, on its irony, its simplicity is directly proportional to its significance.
no more words needed to justify.no doubts,no ifs..
simply,
we have eyes and by that,
we just SEE.
thanks!

I do believe that sense of sight is the most important and the most precious of all the five senses because it lets you see the real beauty of the world. it is one of the most amazing thing that god made. our eyes is the easiest and the most common way of getting an information. The human eye is the organ which gives us the sense of sight, allowing us to learn more about the surrounding world than any of the other five senses. We use our eyes in almost everything we do, whether reading, working, watching television, writing a letter, driving a car, and countless other activities. Sight is the most precious of the five senses, and many people fear blindness more than any other disability. The eye allows us to see and interpret the shapes, colors, and dimensions of objects in the world by processing the light they reflect or give off. The eye is able to see in dim light or bright light, but it cannot see objects when light is absent. The eye changes light rays into electrical signals then sends them to the brain, which interprets these electrical signals as visual images. The eyeball is set in a protective cone-shaped cavity in the skull called the orbit or socket and measures approximately one inch in diameter. The orbit is surrounded by layers of soft, fatty tissue which protect the eye and enable it to turn easily. Six muscles regulate the motion of the eye. Among the more important parts of the human eye are the iris, cornea, lens, retina, conjunctiva, the macula, and the optic nerve.
as we think of this,it is obviously that the the sight is the most important in the sense that everyday we use this as a guide for us........without our sense of sight ,then everything is hard to for us,we could not sdee the true magic of the world and its surroundings,,,through seeing we could appreciate life and its beauty.all other senses, are useful but not as sight.... all we had to do is to treasure everything.... junjie b. palma IV-dove

Though the other senses hold importance, too, if you cannot see, then it would deprive you from a lot of opportunities life could offer you. How can I see God's splendid creations? How can I see people so happy every single day? How can I see the love of my life?
I'd rather lose my capacity to smell, hear, feel and taste than to lose my sight. It would all be in vanity if we cannot see.
Aside from this, being able to see would still allow you to interpret things that happen around you and as well as to appreciate the things God has made for us.

For me eye sight is the most important sense among the five senses, becuase without sight you cannot see the things that are around you. Even if you have the other sense you cannot performe very well because you cannot see what are you doing and without eye sight you're just like nothing..that's why sight is the most important of all the five senses..

yuh i do believe that sight is the most important sight among the five.. Can we imagine life without seeing any single path of light? ...It's horrible, right? We can just see a very sad and misserable life. Sight basically plays a huge role in our lives without it we can't even tell that we exist for we can't see things and we don't know what they are. So yuh, sight is very impotant.

I must say that sight is the most precious and versatile one among the senses. It is because we practically use our sight in every activity in our daily lives. With this,we can freely and fastly move and avoid any accidents. In observation, sight is a tool to give full characteristics or description of an object or behavior of one living matter. We could easily make up an inference from a certain situation and deal with things we have worked on.Other senses may be work too but its uses is limited while sight has no limitation for it helps us to understand quickly and figure out directly the natural phenomena.

It is my belief the sight is the most precious of our five senses. Of these five senses, sight is held to be most precious, and the best, and that by reason of his object, it sees the whole body at once. By it we learn, and discern all things, a sense most excellent for use. Although you probably take it for granted, sight is one of your most valuable senses. Sight allows you to perceive the shape, color and size of virtually every object you come in contact with. Every waking second your eyes transfer about a billion pieces of information to your brain, enabling you to interpret the world around you.

Our sight is so precious and we depend upon it so much that we can't imagine what life would be like if we could no longer see. Even when we eat delicious vegetarian food, we "eat" with our eyes: our first impression of the food comes from its appearance, and a bad first impression is hard to overcome no matter how good the food tastes. Not surprisingly, the eye, the delicate and complex end-organ of sight, is influenced by our nutritional status.

Also, our eyes allows as to fully witness and appreciate the creation of God.!

I can say that sight is one of the very important senses but i cant say that it is the one's very important. God gave us five senses to use as a gift if one is missing with us you cannot judge God by the way he use to be to create you with a missing sense just imagine, thats a gift from God just like if you miss your lucky you cant see what happening around you which can you prevail a bad doings of other person that can you act like them...
I just want you to know that every single moment that you are complete or not it is
a gift from God...

sight is the most important among the five senses because seeing the beautiful things in this world which our God has created, is one of the reasons why we're still alive..without seeing a particular object, you won't dare to even touch, smell or taste it... the very first step that we do in any activity is to look at it before we take a step further...
the beauty of the world can be better appreciated if we see it.

yes, i believe that the sight is the most important among all the senses. i cannot imagine my life in the dark. because of this sense i am able to enjoy the wonderful creations of God.
and most of our daily activities strongly needs our vision. even the very simple ones like walking, maybe i can still walk even if i am blind but it would be very difficult for me cause i still need to use a stick to guide my way.
what if i need to do greater things such as researching. i still need someone to help me gather the datas and there's great possibility that people will fool on me. truly seeing is such a great thing.

I believe that using senses is the best way of getting satisfaction. As far as I am concerned it would be the best thing to do if the 5 senses are the primary things. Sight helps a lot in other circumstances. But somehow, other senses contribute also in our everyday life specially in scientific work.

for me..sight is not the most important..
proof of this are blind people..
even though they lack eyesight, they manage to live a normal life..
they even excel in many fields..
our eyes maybe important but i think it is not the most..
the most important is the way we live life and how we use the things
that we have..
we may not see things but it is not the true measurement of being a real person..
"we live by faith and not bu sight.."
